Slow WI-FI Connection Speeds
Are you having this issue with multiple devices or just one?
One Device:
- Try restarting the device and reconnecting to the network.
- Try testing another device on the same network and see if it has the same issue.
- Try disconnecting the power from router/modem for 10 seconds and restarting it.
If it continues to be a single device having the slow speeds you might want to contact the device’s manufacturer for help.
Multiple Devices:
- Try disconnecting the power from router/modem for 10 seconds and restarting it.
- Test a single device with all others disconnected. If the first device has no issues, then add more devices one at a time. If you find that you get to a certain number of devices before the slow down, then you might be running too many at once.
- If you have it available you can connect a device with an Ethernet cord to the modem and test the speed.
