This guide will walk you through checking your Windows 7 and Windows 10 computer for Gigabit access.
For Windows 10 Under the Start Menu, search for View Network, and as the result appears, press Enter or click on it. This will open the Network and Sharing Center window. Click on the Change adapter settings.
For Windows 7 Under the Start Menu go to Control Panel, Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center. Click on the Change adapter settings.
For customer connecting with an Ethernet cord look for the letters GBE or the word Gigabit in the name of your device.
For wireless computers you are looking for 802.11ac in the name. You may have to hover your mouse over the adapter icon to read the whole name.
